About the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono

The Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono is a full service veterinary hospital. This modern facility is equipped to treat and care for all of your pets’ medical and surgical needs. We are located in the heart of the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, conveniently on Route 940 East in Mt. Pocono. We are just west of the K Mart and Wal Mart shopping areas and across the highway from the Comfort Inn. Here you will find we have ample parking with easy access to and from the highway. The Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono was established in the early 1970’s and has been operated by Dr. Valese since 1986.

We employ up to date technology with a touch of love to help make everyone feel welcome. We have a comfortable and spacious reception area, our own clinical diagnostic lab, pharmacy, radiology, operating room, treatment area, separate cat and dog reception areas, cat and dog examination rooms, which even has a power lift table, boarding ward plus a bathing and grooming facility. We are also a regional veterinary dental referral center seeing patients from the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania for advanced dental care. This means that other veterinarians refer their difficult dental and oral health care needs to Dr. Valese for care.

So bring in your dog, cat, ferret, rabbit, bird, reptile, or other small pet in for a visit. They’re all welcome.
