I have been taking my animals to Dr. Valese for well over 20 years. I now have a German Sheppard and two cats. Dr. Valese is very thorough and caring during the examination of my animals. When a problem is found he takes the time to explain everything that has to be done to correct the condition. His concern for all animals is truly genuine.

When my cat Skippy became very ill, Dr. Valese diagnosed the problem immediately and put him on intravenous feeding. He allowed me to visit Skippy every day and as he got better I was allowed to bring him his favorite food. No matter what time of day I went to the office Dr. Valese and his staff always had encouraging words.

Dr. Valese is also one of the best animal dentists around. He had cleaned my cats’ teeth, extracted a few and also fixed one of my Sheppard’s teeth. Before doing the procedure Dr. Valese explained in detail what would be done and assured me that all would go well.

I board my animals there knowing they will have the best possible care. How do I know this? When I bring my Sheppard to his office, she jumps out of the car and goes right to the door waiting to go in to greet his excellent staff.

Having seen many Veterinarians, Dr. Valese is the only Veterinarian that had an open house. He invited me and many others to go to his office and show us all the facilities. He explained all the different equipment and operations going on beyond the waiting room. He then asked if we had any questions which he answered in a very informative manner. All present were very impressed with all the up-to-date equipment and how clean every thing was from the operating room to the animal pens. You can see this upon entering the waiting room that this practice is still enforced.

If you are ill, would you go to any doctor? You would want the best. The same goes for our four legged family members. That is why I take my pets to the best, Dr. Valese of the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono.

The office is clean from the parking lot to the exam rooms. The front desk is organized and the girls are always patient and friendly. All questions are always answered and all phone messages returned. My pets’ complete medical history is in the computer and their pictures on all medication. There is always a follow-up phone call to check on my pets’ recovery and any reaction to their medication. I have peace of mind when I have to leave my pets because I know they are carefully watched.

The hospital regards healthcare of animals their primary focus. Dr. Valese has been our veterinarian for thirteen years. There are several reasons we never felt the need to look elsewhere. Dr. Valese is highly educated; he also adds a personal touch to all of his patients and their individual needs. If I had to describe this facility in one word, it would be dedication. From the moment you walk through the doors, your pet becomes top priority. The staff is wonderful. They greet you and your pet by name, they never undermine your concerns, and they really try to work with you as far as scheduling needs.

When bringing your pet to Dr. Valese, you know he or she is receiving quality and compassionate care. It doesn’t matter if your pet is going for a simple check-up, or major surgery, all the pets are treated the same. After your pet is taken home from a procedure, you can expect a follow-up phone call just to make sure everything is well. As pet owners, we are usually concerned about leaving our animals for a significant amount of time, but you don’t have to be with Dr. Valese and his staff. All of the examining rooms, the equipment used, and the kennels are spotless. Your pet goes on daily walks. The kennels are supplied with central air and heating. Our pets are an important part of our lives; therefore, I would only trust the doctor to care for their needs. I would never consider any other place to leave my little Jessie.

He has helped my almost 14 year old cocker spaniel with a severe skin condition and keeps it under control.
